Theron L. (Terry) Vanlandingham obtained an associate's degree from Northern Oklahoma College in 1974 and a bachelor's degree in business from Oklahoma City University in 1987. He also previously held the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). Terry began his career as a broker in 1980 with Merrill Lynch. In 1983, he moved to Prudential-Bache Securities, where he later became assistant manager of the Oklahoma City and Edmond branch offices. Terry moved to the locally-owned Capital West Securities in 2002, then, he joined T. S. Phillips Investments in 2010. He also serves as an arbitrator for FINRA.
Terry helps develop the younger generation as a "Personal Management" Merit Badge Counselor for local Boy Scout troops. Additionally, he is the Secretary and Past President of the Downtown Oklahoma City Kiwanis Club. He has also held the positions of Lt. Governor for Division 19 and President of the Texas-Oklahoma Kiwanis Foundation, among others, receiving numerous honors over his 30-year involvement with the Club. Terry and his wife, Leetta, currently reside in Oklahoma City and have two sons.
