Bill Hughes is Vice President and a Financial Advisor with T.S. Phillips Investments. He earned his MBA from the Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma where he was selected as a Price Scholar, allowing him to attend NYU's Stern School of Business and a value investing seminar at the Heilbrunn Center for Graham and Dodd Investing at Columbia University Business School. Bill earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of North Florida where he was elected and served as Student Body President. Upon graduation, Bill began his career in finance and analysis with Darden Restaurants and later worked with the Walt Disney Company.
Based on his many years and experience with Disney, Bill focuses on serving his clients and providing a positive client experience. Bill's practice is based on providing comprehensive financial planning for his clients, including advice on investment management, comprehensive wealth management, and family wealth transfer. His vast knowledge of individual stocks, bonds, mutual funds, exchange traded funds (ETFs), and asset allocation allow him to serve clients with both broad and in-depth guidance.
Bill is very active in civic and charitable organizations. He is a Rotarian and serves on the board of Food and Shelter in Norman, Oklahoma. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and an alumnus of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Bill has been active in his local church, St. Mark the Evangelist, since moving to Oklahoma ten years ago. Bill, his wife, Jill, and their son William call Norman, Oklahoma home.
