
Tom Phillips began his career in the brokerage business in 1977, formerly Vice President, Branch Manager, and Principal of EF Hutton & Co., and Shearson Lehman Hutton. He is a graduate of the College of William and Mary in Virginia. Tom served as an Air Defense Artillery Officer, U.S. Army. He is a Certified Investment Management Consultant and has been an arbitrator for the New York Stock Exchange. In 1990 he founded the investment advisory firm now known as Phillips Capital Advisors and later formed T.S. Phillips Investments, Inc. a FINRA registered broker dealer. In 1999 he was named to the Broker Hall of Fame by Research Magazine.
Mr. Phillips is very active in civic and charitable organizations. He is a past president of the Oklahoma Securities Industry Association, a Rotarian and serves on the board of directors for the Salvation Army in Oklahoma City, where he was also president. He is a member of the board for the Butterfield Foundation and Friends of Hope Africa University. Tom has been active in his local church for over thirty years.
